Stuck at home doing online learning? What a great opportunity to lose yourself in a book.
Book Week’s theme this year is, “Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds.” Whether it’s about aliens, mummies from ancient Egypt or a new world discovered by a hero in a book, you can travel to destinations old and new and meet new people, via a book.
During Book Week this year we would love to hear what you have been reading. Write and share a quick book note, providing three reasons why you enjoyed this book. We would love to hear from you and give Park Positives for your reading.
Email your book note (and photo if you can), to lisa.hoole@det.nsw.edu.au
An example of the Book Note from the book I just finished is below.
I enjoyed reading Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid because it:
1. made me keen to learn on how to surf.
2. reminded how special my Mum, Dad and family are.
3. contained a seriously out of control Hollywood party 😊
Park Positives and some canteen vouchers will be awarded to students who participate!
