Year 7 Humanities HUB students recently exhibited their learning to parents, Shellharbour Council representatives and other key community stakeholders.
In Term 2, students have been working on developing a video advertisement on an idea to make Albion Park a more liveable town. They have developed a range of relevant future-focused skills including collaboration and communication throughout the term working in their groups.
Members of the panel were highly impressed with student ideas, and the skills involved in presenting their pitch and making their videos. It was a rich and authentic learning experience for all.
Students also presented their Individual Learning Portfolios - with evidence of activities across the History, Geography and English courses, including a formal letter to the council using persuasive language.
