Families often tell us that it can be difficult to find the right person to talk to, or they feel frustrated because they don’t know what steps to take to bring an issue to someone’s attention. This video outlines how to contact the NSW Department of Education, the type of information to provide, and the process we follow when we are contacted.
There will be times when you as parents, carers and families want to ask a question, raise an issue or make a complaint about our school.
It is important that there are clear guidance about how to approach us positively, so that we can support the wellbeing of students and develop positive relationships with the school community.
People like to be able to access information in a variety of ways, so a short video for parents, carers and families is now available. This video encourages families to raise issues early and contact schools first, giving schools the opportunity to resolve issues quickly and before they become formal complaints. The video complements other information available on the education website and the information that schools provide to families.
This information will be available in the 'news' section for a short time and after that you will be able to access it by clikcing on 'About our school'.
